Maori Trustee Training

Maori Trustee Training is a national training programme delivered across New Zealand that aims to up-skill and improve the governance capability of Trustees managing multiple-owned Maori assets.
Maori Trustee Training is fully funded by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise under the Enterprise Training Programme.

Eligibility
Trustees and Managers of Maori Trusts and Incorporations of land managed under Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993.

Trustees of Maori Trusts and similar organisations managing Maori Assets under multiple ownership.

Anyone seeking election as a Trustee of one of the above.

What is involved?
Needs Assessment.
You will begin the Maori Trustee Training Programme with a one-on-one assessment to identify what specific areas of governance assistance you require. This enables training workshops to be tailored to your needs.

What does the training cost?
Maori Trustee Training is fully funded by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE) under its Enterprise Training Programme so there is no cost to you, however you will need to invest your time, effort and commitment.
