About Challenge Training
We are a training and business advisory service with two specific arms.
Our business advisory arm runs the Be Your Own Boss contract in the Ruapehu District and the Waimarino. We also co-ordinate the Trade and Enterprise Training in the Ruapehu District. This involves working with owners of small - medium businesses and helping with with everyday problems or advice on setting up new businesses or improving management of existing businesses.
Our training arm has contracts to deliver training with various organisations including; The Forest Industries Training & Education Council, The Department of Social Policy, Christchurch City Council, Fulton Hogan, The Ruapehu District Council, CYPFS and others.
We deliver training from life skills work with unemployed to manager training for large corporates. We are involved in Unit Standard design and delivery from the New Zealand Qualifications Framework but also work often in non-formal training designed to deliver specific outputs.

About Lake Taupo Development Company
We are a training and business advisory service with two specific areas.
In the business advisory area of our business we deliver BIZ Business information for Taupo and surrounding districts, providing advice on a wide range of topics such as e-business, tax, employing staff, exporting, finance, marketing, mentoring and New Zealand business regulations. In the training area we co-ordinate the Enterprise Training Programme in Taupo and Turangi. This involves working with owners or managers of small to medium businesses. The FREE enterprise training programme is designed to support all business related needs. To qualify for entry into the program a business owner or manager must complete a registration form and an on-line Business Assessment. From there, a meeting with a local Business Advisor is set up and training needs identified. Clients who have completed the registration process are then entitled to attend any of the FREE enterprise training workshops we hold during the year, and through attendance, qualify for free follow up coaching.
